For those of you (aka no one) who were wondering what happened to the last week's worth of SEDA posts and videos, I took a little vacation. I tried to have things pre-posted and scheduled to go live while I was gone but that didn't happen and I didn't want to take the work with me on vacation.
Jon has been in Washington for the past month or so and he promised that we'd be together on our one year anniversary. At the time I thought that he meant he was going to be back home by then, but instead it meant he was flying me out to visit him. He doesn't live in Seattle but my second day there we drove up there with his nephew (who by the way is 4 or 5 years older than him) and his girlfriend. They were actually flying out of Seattle that day so we hung out there until they had to catch their flight.
We got to see Pike Place Market where they throw fish at each other (not as exciting as everyone made it seem), the first ever Starbucks (We walked past it because I was NOT going to wait in that line), the Gum Wall (I was actually really excited about that) and one of, if not the oldest comic book store in the US, which was entirely awesome.
Once Jon's nephew and girlfriend left, we started heading towards home but traffic pushed us to stop for an early dinner at none other than the Cheesecake Factory, which is actually where we had our first "date." I didn't know it was a date at the time, but looking back on things, it was. He tricked me.
