Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it. This might be kind of weird to say, but I'm feeling "older" this year. The past year and a half or so I feel like I've matured a lot. It's like I'm a different person that I was, say, two years ago. And I'm liking who I am. Like many other bloggers, I thought I'd take a moment to reflect on the things I'm thankful for this year.
1. FAMILY. You know when your mom goes, "One day, when you're older, you will understand?" I think I'm there now. I'm thankful to have both my parents around and that they still do everything they can to support me (in all ways possible). I'm grateful that they've supported me so that I can put my full concentration on my education and future career. I'm grateful to have a sister, someone my age that I can call blood and will always be there for me. We're awkward and weird together because we only started liking each other recently (lol), but nonetheless, I'm thankful.
I would also like to note that I'm thankful to have a best friend back home who my family considers family and whose family considers me family as well. :)

2. JON. I'm thankful to have someone who brings out my good side. Someone who has opened to my eyes to what selflessness, kindness and understanding is. You guys already know our story.
3. EDUCATION My expected graduation date is May 2014. I'm thankful to have the opportunity to get an education and go to college. I'm also thankful to have found a major that I really enjoy.
4. PASSION/DRIVE I've seen so many people who just don't have the drive and passion to do something great. Whatever makes them happy, but I'm thankful to have that drive instead of me to achieve something more and do amazing things. I'm happy that I'm someone who has found her passions and does things that feed the soul.
Today is awesome because it's Thanksgiving! Lots of food yum <3
