Tuesday was filming day for Arizona Cat's Eye, my senior capstone class for journalism school. It's funny because filming for our show actually takes place at the station where I intern! As one of the producers for the student run show, I sat in the production booth during filming.
I feel like we're done with class and with the show, but we still have to edit it all and put the show together. Our teachers say that previous classes have taken up until the last week of classes to finish editing. That's kind of concerning for me! I'm usually quick at editing, but I guess when you're relying on other people to edit their packages as well, things can take longer.
I wish I would've taken more pictures on the day of! One of our teachers took some for promotion purposes on the Cat's Eye social media sites but I don't think those have gone up yet. I was also having a bad hair day that day though and wasn't really prepared to be on camera considering I'm a producer not an anchor...so I'm not sure I want to even see those photos...Haha!
In other news, Jon leaves tomorrow for the next two weeks. :( I know I shouldn't be as sad as I am, but I really can't help it. Also, I have a recipe coming to you guys soon! I just need to edit the photos for it. Lastly, I've decided to do a photo challenge! You can find more details about the photo challenge and keep track of my progress so far by clicking the appropriate tab in the menu bar! I haven't uploaded any of the photos yet because I started late in the game, but once I get a batch of them together I'll be doing a post. I'm actually really excited about it and am pretty satisfied with the photos I have so far!

Today is awesome because I went to the Cheesecake Factory and got some of their Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake. MMMMM. My favorite. I love anything red velvet.
